Bath is within an hour drive of many awesome destinations with so much to explore, such as Portland, Boothbay Harbor, Wiscasset, and Freeport, Maine! List below was created with help from Maine-local and uncle of the bride, John Rogers!

Nature:

- Popham Beach in Phippsburg, ME - the best beach in Maine. Approximately 15 miles from Bath, this state park features a spacious sandy beach, picnic areas, and scenic views of the Atlantic Ocean.

- Reid State Park in Georgetown, ME - with a very cool pebble beach and a much larger sand beach, picnic tables, grills, etc. Located about 16 miles from Bath, Reid State Park offers two beautiful beaches, picnic spots, and nature trails, making it ideal for a day of relaxation and exploration.

- Camden Hills State Park in Camden, ME

- Coastal Maine Botanical Garden - this is a must see. The gardens are amazing all spring/summer, with world-famous giant wooden troll sculptures throughout. They have a very good café and the gift shop has truly unique and beautiful things.
